This site was in need of some extra TLC to prep the soil after heavy compaction before new landscape could be installed. The front yard is shaded to the east by large chestnut trees until the late afternoon when the sun hits direct and hard. We chose mostly drought tolerant flowering perennials and grasses along with a few blueberry bushes for snacking on the porch. A couple garden trees soften the landscape and add vertical interest in a pallet of silvers, oranges, and pinky peach.
