Previously the front was set up like a fortress with mature shrubs in bad shape and a tall fence surrounding the entire front yard. The existing narrow cement walkway and steps were replaced by oversized Castohn pavers set asymmetrically for visual interest and to balance the front yard. Black basalt boulders add texture and mirror the dark colors of the house. The minimal planting color pallet includes bright greens, dark purples, and black with some white and soft pink flowers as contrasting accents.
